The Health Benefits of Black Pepper and Turmeric for loosing Weight
Recently I resumed my running routine and realized I needed to drop some excess weight to better my performance. While doing some research, I came across some exciting information I wanted to share. Did you know that black pepper and tumeric can increase your weight loss and your overall performance? Read on to discover the secret to these two ingredients.
Turmeric has been used for over 4000 years as a natural medicine. Black pepper is also a common spice made from dried berries and has some awesome and proven health benefits. When these ingredients are mixed together they form a special combination which multiplies the health benefits for our bodies. Combined, they work wonders in helping you to lose weight. I personally using this 5 days a week as a morning drink. In the past 60 days I have lost 17 lbs and 3 inches off my waist! (Albeit I also have a very regimented diet and exercise plan in place.)
Weight gain is a common problem in our society because we eat to much CRAP! Food is not Food it’s LIFE! Turmeric contains a very powerful ingredient called curcumin which can help shed body fat very quickly. The problem is curcumin is not easily absorbed by the body. This is where the black pepper comes into play. Adding black pepper boosts the bio-availability by a WHOPPING 2000% allowing our bodies to absorb the curcumin into the blood quickly, through the lymphatic system.
You can simply add this to your healthy recipes, but I’ve found amazing results by drinking it before my morning meal. Here is the recipe I use.
- 18 oz Spring Water
- 1/2 Teaspoon of ground organic black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of organic Turmeric powder
- Mix these ingredients in a pan and simmer for 5 mins. Allow the mixture to cool slightly and drink before your morning meal.
- If you don’t care for the taste add a little honey, cinnamon or cloves
The black pepper will significantly improve absorption of the curcumin. The curcumin within turmeric has been scientifically proven to be stronger than many medicines that fight inflammation, diseases and infection.
