About American Nomad

Since 1976 American Nomad Outfitters has been dedicated to offering high-quality, endurance-tested products to the outdoor community.  Dominick, the head nomad, started Manochio Enterprises and later expanded to a father and son enterprise whose passion encompasses all things outdoors, travel, and exploration.  The passion for adventure evolved into a desire to provide exceptional travel gear and accessories to like-minded people across the nation.  Everything on this page has been tested to the limits and have passed our real-world tests. 

Along with offering products that we think you will need for your own adventures, we want to offer our experiences as a guide for planning your own overland adventures.  At American Nomad Outfitters, we believe it is important to help beginners and experienced outdoor thrill seekers achieve their goals of freedom through nature by sharing everything we have learned along the way.  We hope that by sharing our love of a healthy and active lifestyle through outdoor adventure, that everyone reading our stories will feel inspired to get out and enjoy the natural world as well.
